Along the Zemmbach stream, the hiking trail leads to Gasthof Hochsteg, where the chapel is located in the immediate vicinity right at the wooden bridge Hochsteg.
The Hochsteg chapel in the Hochsteg district: This chapel is a private chapel constructed around 1880-1890. Ancestors of the Hotter family built it on a vow (recovery after a serious accident). On the altar of the Virgin Mary, the grotto of Lourdes was designed with a lot of love and details, which is filled with a wonderful Madonna.
It was renovated in 2005 by the Hotter family at their own expense and is still cared for with much love and care.
