Description

Heading from Wörgl, Kufstein or St. Johann on the B178 road, take the exit to Scheffau and drive through the village as you continue in the direction of the Hintersteiner See. Shortly after passing the last of the houses on the right-hand side (in Gaisberg) and having reached the start of the forest, take the turnoff to the right that is located on the sharp left-hand turn. Follow the narrow asphalt road towards Schießling until you reach the hiking starting point and the car park.

Go to KaiserJet/Postbus stop “Scheffau Dorf”, then ride the Hintersteiner See lake bus to “Bruggenmoos” – followed by approx. 30-minute hike to Gaisberg car park.
