Description

The Gschwandtkopf is considered the "Seefeld local mountain" and offers a variety of activities for family, friends and solo adventurers in summer and winter. Within walking distance of Seefeld's train station and village centre, the Gschwandkopf delights in the summer months with beautiful (e-)bike and hiking trails, while in winter about five kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes delight all levels and ages. With the Sportalm, the Bergrestaurant and Panoramabar and the Sonnenalm, three delicious huts and alpine pastures on Seefeld's local mountain tempt you with culinary temptations and cosy hut flair all year round. The imposing reservoir at the summit of the Gschwandtkopf is, of course, also considered a special jewel, posing here in summer and winter for impressive panoramic views.

Summer
In summer, the Gschwandtkopf blossoms in vibrant colours and attracts biking and hiking guests to the cool forests and lush alpine meadows. From mid-June to mid-October, in good weather, the summer chairlift makes the ascent to the summit easier - and if you wish, you can also take your bike with you. Alternatively, choose one of the beautiful hiking routes to the reservoir at the summit or enjoy the sunny hours on the summer meadows around Seefeld's local mountain. If you get hungry on the way, the huts and alpine pastures on the Gschwandtkopf offer seasonal delicacies and - of course - a cosy sun terrace.

Winter
During the winter months, the Gschwandtkopf is transformed into a sparkling snow paradise - and a versatile ski area for family, friends and solo skiers. Then the Happy Gschwandkopf liftsnot only offer an exciting children's paradise with magic carpet and children's drag lift, but professional athletes also enjoy meeting on the slopes for race and technique training. Of course, the exclusive accommodation on site offers particularly comfortable skiing pleasure, where you can start straight from the hotel door onto the piste after a power breakfast. For day guests, parking spaces are available at the valley station and at the Seewaldalm, but arriving by public transport is also possible without any problems.
