Gföllkapelle

Description

The wayside chapel at the Gföllhaus, at the entrance to the Paznaun valley, was built in 2002 with funds from the Paznaun district physician Dr. Walter Köck. The first Marian chapel in the Gföll had been built after 1809 on the opposite side of the valley, but was increasingly sidelined by the construction of the road (1887).
