Attraction experience path Gerlos

Gerlos, Zillertal

The Erlebnisreichweg is all about the interplay between humans and ecology. The starting point of the hike is in Gerlos (1,250 m) opposite the Jägerstüberl restaurant, right by the music pavilion.

Description

At over 40 stations along the way, children and adults collect educational sensory experiences and can let nature affect them. Numerous sculptures, such as a tree struck by lightning, the insect hotel, or a waterwheel, make the path along the Gerlosbach exciting and motivate even the smallest hikers to continue walking.

Two more highlights along the riverside path include the 7 themed tree houses (hunting stand, bee house, hobbit house, ship, spider web, bird's nest, and insect hotel), which invite you on an exciting discovery journey. The diverse course, consisting of 8 stations, is also waiting to be explored – here, young and old can demonstrate their agility, accuracy, and dexterity. The starting point of the course is at the Gerlos forest playground.

The experience path, with many more attractions like the MTB practice trail, high ropes course with flying fox, forest playground with trampolines, and a grill/fireplace, thus becomes a special nature and family experience.
Numerous places to eat in the village.
