Attraction Church St. Briccius

Uderns, Zillertal

The parish church is located in the center of the village and is dedicated to St. Dedicated to Briccius. The consecration of the church is documented as early as 1334. Of the new Gothic building around 1489, only the choir and the tower remained in the course of the baroque renovation between 1685 and 1689. The well-known organ builder Karl Mauracher from Fügen / Kapfing created the organ case and mechanism. Today the church is a baroque hall church with two portals and a Gothic pointed helmet tower as well as a two-bay choir and pointed arched windows.
