Attraction Chapel of the Epiphany in Mathon

Ischgl

In the past, central buildings with round or polygonal ground plans were reserved for baptisteries and mortuary chapels. The reasons for the choice of ground plan in Mathon are not known. The altar carved around 1774 with the Adoration of the Magi (popularly known as the Nativity altar) and St. Anthony and St. Francis is attributed to the workshop of the Witwer family of artists in Imst.
