The Brenner Base Tunnel Infocentre "Tunnel Worlds" invites the whole family, explorers and experts to experience and explore the exciting world of tunnel construction. On two levels, the approximately 700 m² exhibition with interactive elements illustrates the largest tunnel construction project in Europe and offers insights into the underground world of the Alps.

Description

What does it look like inside a tunnel? Why does a tunnel have to be "round"? Why do you need anchors when building tunnels? All these questions are answered in the tunnel worlds. Numerous interactive exhibits from a wide variety of fields, such as geology, history, surveying, tunnel construction, the environment and many more, invite visitors to experience and explore. An indoor area suitable for children and themed play stations in the outdoor area invite families in particular to immerse themselves in the world of the tunnel. 

Admission is free and there are also free short guided tours on site from Tuesday to Friday!
