The Rosshütte cable cars are perched high above the sunny Seefeld plateau. Quickly and comfortably accessible from the Region Seefeld information center, at the ICE train station, this versatile year-round destination offers numerous activities and culinary highlights in the most beautiful Alpine panorama.

Those who arriving by car will find plenty of parking spaces in the open-air parking lot and in the weather-protected multi-storey at the valley station.

The Rosshütte has a long tradition in Seefeld. Once the simple wooden hut served as a stable, burned down in 1925. With the reconstruction, the sporting development of the mountain slope began and the former alpine farm was expanded into a ski hut with all comforts. From 1954 onwards, the opening of the cable car attracted numerous snow-hungry skiers to the region.

Nowadays, the Bergbahnen Rosshütte is one of the most popular and diverse year-round destination in the Region Seefeld: At the middle station (1,751 m), visitors can enjoy delicious food and drinks in the spacious mountain restaurant with an expansive sun terrace and spectacular mountain views. Children will find numerous play oppurtunities in summer, from the mining adventure playground to tramolines and a wooden marble run. From the middle station, the Härmelekopfbahn also offers a comfortable gondola connection to the most spectacular panoramic view over Seefeld and the surrounding Alps. The mountain station is located at proud 2,041 meters above sea level and is in operation all year round.

In summer, numerous signposted bike and hike trails leads over impressive panoramic routes and through fragrant pine forests. In winter, perfectly groomed ski slopes for all levels of difficulty attract visitors to the valley. You can also enjoy a stop at the Rosshütte - from hearty "Schnitzel" and classic yeast dumplings to gourmet brunch. A little below the mid station, the mountain peaks are reflected in the idyllic Kaltwasser lake. On the way down to the valley, just a view minutes walk from the lake, ther is the traditional hut Hochegg Alm(1,545 m) which offers another rustic stop with authentic Tyrolean hut flair and delicious Kaiserschmarrn.
