Attraction Adventure Park and Playground Rosshütte

Seefeld

Adventure playground at the middle station Rosshütte around the theme of mining with many spectacular climibing opportunities, swings and crawling nets as well as tire slide and trampoline.

Description

The large adventure playground at the Rosshütte middle station is dedicated to the exciting topic of mining and offers children the opportunity to learn while having fun. The centerpiece of the sandy area is the mining climbing tower with its long tubular slide and beside that there is the mine with swivelling mining cart and sieve station. There are also shovels, buckets, brooms and other important mining tools required for a ‘hard day’s work’. As well as the mining theme, the playground also has climbing frames, swings, scramble netting, an exciting tubing slide and air cushion trampolining for some acrobatic practice.

Next to the adventure playground is a big wooden marble run feature with various stations and obstacles. Simply get a wooden ball from the machine and once you have finished playing, you can keep it as a little souvenir.

The nearby Rosshütte restauranthas a spacious sun terrace and a cosy café where parents, children and day-visitors can enjoy some tasty treats with spectacular view over the Region Seefeld. Just a short walk down from the middle station is a small lake, the Kaltwassersee, which is used to provide water for the snow-making machine in winter and a beautiful place to relax.

The playground and trampoline areais supervised during the mountain lifts are in operation. The path
up to the middle station is suitable for families and baby stroller. The walk takes about 2 hours.
There is plenty of parking available at the valley station. Older guests, large groups or families
with baby stroller can make the ascent more comfortable by taking the funicular to the middle station.
