Achenkirch - Karwendelweg - Panoramaweg - Achensee - Achenkirch

Description

From the car park at the Christlum lifts walk to the entrance of the “Unterautal” and from there continue in a northward direction for approx. 100 m until you reach the “Karwendelweg” path. This path leads across a high plateau to the golf course and over a high moor, descends into the “Blaserbachschlucht” gorge and finally climbs up to the “Falkenmoos” forest path. Walk past the “Kalvarienkirche” church until you reach the bus stop “Achenkirch Abzw. Steinberg”. From there, turn left and walk through the underpass, then hike up the steep asphalt road to “Wies” (district of Achenkirch). At the bend, this path turns left in the direction “Alter Steinbergweg”. After approx. 50 m head right in the direction of the village centre until you reach the car park at the biomass cogeneration plant. From there, the panoramic path leads to the “Resort Achensee”. Turn left on the pavement next to the Achensee main road until you reach the underpass and continue to the “Hotel Fischerwirt”. Cross the bridge, pass the “Karlingerhof”, and follow the path through the meadows to the “Schrambacherhof”. Walk past the hotel “Das Kronthaler” until finally you reach the car park of the Christlum lifts. Follow the route you took on the ascent back to the valley.
