Description

The “Alte Schmiede” is located in the heart of the old village. A small supermarket and bus stop are just a short walk away. The Vitalradweg bike path leads right by the front door.

The apartment is on the ground floor of the former village smithy, hence the name the Alte Schmiede (old forge). The old smithy dates back to 1666. The apartment, which was newly renovated in 2023, is perfect for an active couple. There is an extra bed for a child and a well-behaved family dog is also very welcome. The cosy “Zirbenstube” (stone pine room) has a double bed and a reading chair, as well as a small closet and shelves that provide plenty of space for your things. Three people can sit at the kitchen table and a high chair is available. The spacious bathroom has natural light and is equipped with a shower, toilet and washing machine. You are welcome to use the garden and terrace with us.

The Alte Schmiede is perfect for sustainable travellers! Almost all activities are possible on foot, by bike or on public transport. Electricity is generated by an in-house solar PV system, a pellet heating system provides the heat.
