Spring is in the air and Easters on its way: Innsbruck’s historic downtown district provides a stunning backdrop for a showcase of Easter customs and traditions in March, with stalls selling Easter eggs in all variations.
There’s a basket load of cracking events happening over Easter 2024 in Tirol’s capital Innsbruck. Come along to the annual Easter Market for lovely Easter treats, crafts, music and a jolly good time to be had by all. Some 30 exhibitors will be selling their elaborate handmade wares underneath the Golden Roof. These fine items are perfect for gift giving or keeping as a personal treasure. There are stalls selling Easter eggs in all variations, huge varieties of hand-blown decorated eggs and lovely Easter decorations, alongside with assorted wooden toys and selected local arts and crafts. High end gifts and crafts will sit side by side with tasty treats & festive fayre, offering patrons the chance to sample and purchase quality farm produce. Keeping the crowds amused will be an array of entertainers, including local folklore groups and brass bands. There’s also loads of fun to be had by the kids. Come along and enjoy great days amongst the historic buildings of Innsbruck against the backdrop of its towering mountains.
