Measuring 7.1 kilometres in length, the Fleckalm Trail is the longest singletrack in Tirol. It is located in the beautiful Kitzbühel Alps and winds its way down more than 1,100 vertical metres from top to bottom. This seemingly never-ending trail comprises root sections, large and small jumps, banked corners, berms, a few short climbs and plenty of fast sections. What more could you want from an enduro trail? It hosted the Mountainbike Enduro European Championships in 2015 and is rated S2/S3 on the international difficulty scale, depending on the section. Its length and technical elements mean that riders wishing to take on this challenge should have good fitness levels and bike-handling skills.

Trail description
After taking the Fleckalmbahn cable car up to 1,797 metres above sea level, riders follow the signs to the start of the trail (the first few vertical metres of descent are along a forest road before the singletrack begins in earnest).
The first section of singletrack winds its way down along the edge of the ski piste. After a short transfer along the forest road, riders cross the ski piste and follow the brown dirt trail carved into the lush green meadow. Before the trail enters the forest there are a few fun berms and tables. Once in the forest, things get more technical. Here there are also a number of short climbs between the downhill sections. After passing the Berggasthof Fleckalm hut, the trail becomes more flowy once again and features a number of fast banked corners and small jumps. The final section is along the edge of the forest, through wide open meadows and then finally once again through a forest to the finish at the bottom station of the Fleckalmbahn cable car.
Tip! The Berggasthof Fleckalm, with its large terrace offering fantastic views of the surrounding mountains, is a good place to try some of the local food.
